Deal with paperwork in a timely fashion
Anyone who runs a business will agree that time management is of the utmost importance. You can’t afford to waste time shuffling through piles of papers every day. One easy solution is to do what you can as soon as possible. If you know that a piece of paperwork will only take a few minutes to process, do it immediately. Don’t procrastinate! If it is going to take a little longer, put it in a certain folder and get to it later in the day. All paperwork that is not urgent should go in a separate location and will be dealt with during free time. This will help to keep you organized. Rubber stamps are also helpful. Keep them nearby to keep track of paid slips or papers that were copied, faxed, or anything.
