Auto Window Decals for Blog Promotion

Can auto window decals promote a blog?

You love your new blog or website and you’d like to increase your readership. That doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate your current three faithful visitors, of course, (Hey, Mom!) but it would be nice to get your message out to more people. As you look into costly advertising options, it occurs to you that, with your local news slant, what you really need is a way to advertise locally. You drive all over the place running errands and providing your children with their own personal shuttle service, so why not figure out a way to turn your car into a moving advertisement?

  • Auto window decals are a great option for advertising very short messages, like a website name and URL. While they can hold more information, you should keep in mind that people cannot read a few paragraphs of information in small print while they are driving along behind you. Using a large font and few words makes reading a car window sign much easier and will give you better results.
  • Keep in mind that some font colors, such as yellow, pale green and light blue, are not easy to read when you are standing still, let alone when you are in a moving vehicle that is following a moving vehicle with a sign in the window.
